A BUSH ROMANCE (2019): "The Bush is often viewed with a romantic eye for its beauty and freedom from city life. Both in the past, and today, we look through rose coloured glasses and imagine ourselves there. But the reality asks us to look closer, and allow ourselves to be taught and humbled by the primal rhythms of nature...
My work explores the intersection of inner and outer landscapes. I'm inspired by the timeless, elemental natural world, and a deep personal connection to this southern landscape. Thus, creating liminal and textured images to encourage a re-imagining of our relationship and connection with the natural world."
